Cultural Diversity in Ageing 2012 Conference

 

 

 

 

 

 

Kalyna Care was proud to be a sponsor of the 2012 Cultural Diversity in Ageing Conference held at the Melbourne Convention Centre on the 7th and 8th of June.

The conference brought together a range of delegates from across the country to exchange ideas, learn from each other and explore opportunities to expand culturally inclusive initiatives and collaborations.

The conference theme this year was Stories to Inspire based upon the stories of ethnic communities, aged care services and staff, carers and ageing migrants in the community.

This was a most appropriate theme for Kalyna Care as our Vision is "to know your story". Kalyna Care was represented by Mark Sheldon-Stemm, General Manager, who chaired a healthy living and lifestyle session and by administrative staff who attended to an information stand proudly displaying our brochures and information packs, Your Story books, poster and Ukrainian ornaments.
