October 2011 - Grand Opening

After nearly twelve months development, the new expanded facility is nearing completion and due to be opened on Sunday 27th November 2011 at Delahey in Melbourne.

This expanded facility will offer residents new areas they can utilize, including:

-Home room for cooking
-New Kitchen catering for the 102 residents
-New Lounge and Dining Rooms
-New outdoor areas for entertaining
-New Chapel/ Hall for celebrating Christmas and Easter.

Apart from these there are an extra 55 bedrooms and other communal areas.

We want to thank the Ukrainian Community for their support before and during the project, as the Chapel/ hall will be furnished through the donations made over the past few years from individuals and groups.

Kalyna Care is now proud to offer to the Ukrainian Community a modern and delightful place where we will continue to care for our community when they need our help.
